Where: The North-east rim of the Western Plains, they will have a sub-board put there when we have a player for Gipsy.
Plot-line: Its a well-known fact in Africa that the enemy of the lion is the Cape Buffalo, and Vice Versa, given the chance they would kill each other for no reason whatsoever. Need proof for it? Ever heard of "Big Cat Diary" or the "Marsh Pride" of the Masai Mara? Well this herd and pride are in hatred for one another. But it isn't just the case of predator versus prey, its much more intimate then that. The lion pride is a big pride and included several bands of paired animals that ended up joining for hunt together. The pride is ruled by the female Gipsy and her sister Rozalinda along with their five elder daughters and a band of six other females from varying places. They joined together to hunt the larger zebra and the surplus of game in the northern end of the Western Plains, and it was not long before a trio of lovely males joined them.
These males were all from the wild like Gipsy and her band, whereas others were from zoos. After successfully seeing off rival males the trio were accepted straight away and they were each very special.
The toughest was Lorenz, a massive darkly marked animal with keen teeth and a strong voice and body, he had brains and a knack for banding other lions to him, and he was very keen on Gipsy straight away, the pair were meant for each other. But then there is Tamal, he is massive and very aggressive toward all that bother him, and it was him that caused the trouble. He thinks he's the dominant one because he has the blackest mane and has scars littered across his body. He had been beaten up a few times by Lorenz but only because he was tricked a lot. But below them is a younger male that joined them when he was exiled and banded with them in Nomad's land, he is Wildon, and though he's a nervous beast and quite lazy, he has an amazing pull over the females and tends to mate with more of them then Tamal.
But the problem with the pride was their size and Tamal's attitude. He got aggressive toward a herd of Cape Buffalo that moved into their area. He dared to run among the pregnant and quite nervous cows and even tore open a calf quite unexpectedly. But then he met the ten year old bull, Koby, and the beast was not going to stand for that. Littered in punctures from lion attacks and indeed one hunter's rifle, Koby was afraid of nothing and quickly chased the lion off. But from that stupid act, the pride is under attack from the mad bull and his mob, and they have already lost cubs to the creature. Will they be able to get a big enough pride or scheme to take Koby down? Or will Koby take control of the whole area by killing this pride and any other predators in his midst!
Buffalo Herd: The only member of the buffalo herd named at the moment is the big boss, Koby, but there are twenty other members of the herd that need to be created and joined to the storyline!
Lion Pride: Gipsy (lead female and boss), Rozalind (Gipsy's younger sister and Beta), and there is the coalition trio, Lorenz (top male), Tamal (the badly scarred animal), and Wildon (generally the bottom one that tries to steal most of his mates). But there are about eighteen different characters including cubs and adult females that need names and can be created by new people to the game.
Adoptable Characters: Gipsy is adoptable although her pride details and character details have not been put up yet, the same is for her sister Rozalind, and the three males Wildon, Tamal, and Lorenz. All other members of the groups can be created by new members.
How to Apply: As this is a fairly close-nit plot-line there are only two ways to join in with it. The first is to adopt or create a character that is already in the pride, we will edit this plot-line with whatever characters join it, as at the moment we only have a few listed names and no full profiles. The second way is to ask whoever is playing the lead member of the pride, which is whoever adopts Gipsy as their main character if you can join in, and vice versa for whoever is playing Koby, which will be me.
