Where: The Scattered Highlands
Animals Involved: Gelada Baboons & Ethiopian Wolves
Plot-line: No matter whether there is the room and freedom from disease, some species are rare no matter what. Of these African kinds are the very rare Ethiopian wolves, and this Highland Pack are the only two on Tempolar so far, but they are not completely alone, the female had given birth to three young pups that are now three months old. On the rocky and dangerous highland grasses, the pups have done well, even though their father Ricker is still under the impression that he is a human's pet, and their mother Shadow is an inexperienced mother. But when they had originally joined Tempolar, there were only prey items and themselves on the the Highlands, and now things have changed.
A group of reproductive Gelada baboons has turned up with their babies and are now numbering 50 individuals! At first this seemed a good opportunity for the wolves, they snuck a few baby baboons from the weaker females and were relativley good, until one pair of baboons were introduced.
The male is a very, very, large Gelada called Rufus because of his reddish coloured fringe, and he is a wild-born animal that knows wolves far too well. With him is his mate Gladys, who is just as big and holding onto his young son. Neither of them like the wolves, and they aren't afraid to lead the troop of grazing monkeys toward the wolf dens and try to kill the babies and the adults. This is a real danger for the Ethiopian wolves, especially when there are almost no other animals of their kind around!
Gelada Troop: There are about 50 members of the baboon troop and yet there are two main characters. The first of course is the big male Rufus, and the second is the most dominant female, Gladys. The others can be created and named by anyone wanting to play them.
Ethiopian Pack: The pack consists of Ricker and his mate Shadow, and their three three-month-old pups.
Adoptable Characters: All mentioned except Ricker, the player of Shadow will play the three pups until they are a year old in the next spring!
