Name: Teremun
Meaning of Name: Egyptian for “Loved by the Father”
Age: 6
Gender: Male
Species: Lechwe
Sub-species: Nile Lechwe
Colour: He is the typical rich brown colour that most Nile Lechwe are, almost a chocolate brown colour. He has white pits on his knees and around his eyes are strange white hook shapes. There is a large white patch around his withers and he has cream-coloured lips and nostrils. His head is also marked with a white spot between his horns.
Description: He’s not terribly tall or short; he’s about medium height. He’s the typical colouration of most Nile Lechwe, and he’s very much a proud beast. He’s got strong muscles around his back and he looks like he’s going to attack no matter what, but he always walks proudly. He has thicker fur around his neck and chest to shield his chest, and like most Lechwe his hooves splay to help him leap and walk in water. His ears are teardrop shaped and a pale almost yellow colour on the outside, they are very flexible and bend back so he doesn’t have to get water in them. He’s not one for being surprised and has a good kick in his black legs. His horns are impressive though, they go up at an angle and then sweep back to hook slightly at the end, and they are quite dark with ridges.
Come From: He comes from a French Zoo
Breeding History: He has been used to breed before and he’s been quite successful
Health Problems: None that have shown so far, though he might eventually get back cramps when he’s old
History: He was born in a zoo in Cairo, and when he was two was sold off to a French one that wanted to start a breeding program. He had quite a good run and bred with as many females as they could give him. Life seemed to be going well, until the zoo brought a younger male to replace him and he ended up in a lot of fights with this youngster. Eventually, he killed the younger buck and the zoo knew he had a heart for the wild. So they gave him away to Tempolar, where he’s now been living.
Mate: He’s had several, but doesn’t have anyone at the moment
Offspring: He’s had a lot, and I mean a lot, but not currently
Companions: N/A
Personality: He can be bold, he can be smart, he can be pompous, but generally he’s quite sharp. He’s not very daft and he gets on alright, but around other males he’s always in for a fight. He tends to rattle on about his glory days, but he never hurts his ladies or makes them angry. He’s a gentleman when the season’s right and a devil when it’s wrong. He’s not to be messed with, and he’s very involved with his pride.
Interesting/ Extra Details: He has a slight French accent, but that’s just a charming quirk.

Name: Kesi
Meaning of Name: Born during difficult times
Age: 6
Gender: Female
Species: Greater Kudu
Sub-species: N/A
Colour: She’s the general grey-brown colour with the darker line of fur down her back and the white bands.
Description: She’s a very tall and elegant deer-like animal, sweet and charming to look at. But her long legs hold terrible scars from being harried by predators and tripping a lot. Her left hind leg is badly scarred but healing already. She’s got the usual dorsal hairline of darker fur and the usual bands. But her neat hornless face is odd, just on the bridge below her eyes is a large white band.
Come From: Caught after an accident in Namibia
Breeding History: She’s bred with a buck before, and had two calves from him, but only one made it to two years old, the other died young.
Health Problems: She had an accident where she hurt her leg and cut it open, she’s been a little limply, but it’s healed enough for her to run very fast.
History: She was born wild and lived among the herds, she was gathered every breeding year by the best male of them all and had two calves two him. A cheeky hyena that had plagued her since the later stages of pregnancy caught her first quickly. She had kept the baby safe for it’s first month, but the hyena had been relentless and she’d lost it. Then she had a whole year among the females and her constant male guardian. Then she bred with him again and the calf lived till his second year, but then he wandered off and she never scented him again. Then there was panic in her herd one year, some game-hunters were illegally trespassing in the park and decided to take a few pot shots at the Kudu. She swooned away from the other herds, driven by panic, and it had been just before the breeding season too! But then she cut her leg and tripped on a disused wire and managed to land right in front of the Tempolar team that were responding to the guns. They took her, marked her, fed her up, cured her, and have let her loose.
Mate: She’s had the best male that was around, but then she was brought here and has no one
Offspring: She’s had about two calves, but one was killed quite early and the other one left her herd
Companions: N/A
Personality: A little nervous but then a little head-strong, she can sometimes bully and make it out that she is the most important female around, but really she isn’t. Sometimes she gets into fights for no reason with the other females, but she really only does it make her seem dominant, but really she’s terrified of being left alone, like she is now!
Interesting/ Extra Details: She’s very nervous because she’s alone and will accept any company

Colour: She’s got the general black and white markings on her body and her coat’s the soft red-gold shade with the white flecks known as roaning.
Description: She has long pale horns that bend slightly at the top but grow outward. She has big wide ears that are cupped and white. Her face is marked with black and white but she has big brown eyes and a nervous look. Her neck is quite thick and she is quite tall but stockier and more Oryx like then gazelle. She has the dark line of thin hairs down her spine and it tapers to her bright white bottom and skinny little tail. Her coat is quite golden rather then the dull fawn of most Roan antelope, making her very pretty. She has a wide belly and is quite long in the leg though a little wobbly when she’s had a good run about the place.
Come From: She’s from a breeding programme in the Namibian regions that was started up by a keen Dutchman.
Breeding History: N/A
Health Problems: N/A
History: She was born as part of the breeding programme but her mother rejected her at birth and she had to be bottle-fed and then was held with the females until their release. She was too young to breed and there weren’t many males about so she was never sure what they must be like, only that the other females seemed to be excited about them. But when the scientists were introduced to the Tempolar scheme, the whole herd was purchased, but spilt up during a transit mistake. She was the last to arrive and the others had already been let out before her, so she’s a little lonely.

Interesting/ Extra Details: She’s never been around other roans before that weren’t female, so she gets very lonely for female company

Name: Rona
Meaning of Name: Mighty Power
Age: 8
Gender: Female
Species: Rhino
Sub-species: Black Rhino
Colour: She’s the typical grey colouring of most rhinos
Description: She’s very large and bulky, but not as high or thick as the White. She has the neat long neck and the high shoulders of all black rhinos. She has the neat triangle lip and the very tip of hers is pink. Her coat is a pale grey colour, marked by fights and breeding, but also from ox-peckers and tick bites. She’s very strong and looks quite graceful, instead of cumbersome, as she moves about. She’s very gentle too, and doesn’t like to step on too damp a surface or step on thorny items, though her pads are strong. She has a neat short tail that coils when she’s excited or aggressive.
Come From: She’s from a Namibian conservation site but was sold to the Danish to try and start up a breeding program. However, only one male was found and though she got pregnant, it seemed to take too long for her to have her baby, though she had given birth many times before she was removed.
Breeding History: She’s bred about three times already, once when she was younger and she had a calf that lasted a while before a rival male killed it, and then she bred but didn’t take. Then recently she bred with a large decent male that was quite sweet around her and had shared zoo accommodation with her quite a while. She took, though there was fear she didn’t, and recently she had her bouncy baby.
Health Problems: N/A
History: She was born wild and lived wild till she was about six, and then the humans took her to a Scandinavian country called Denmark. There she was quite happy with now rowdy males to bother her or kill any calves, but then again, there were no calves though plenty of grazers to talk to. She had many friends, some of which have come here too though she has not seen them because of her incident. She was given a male though, the only male black from miles across the water, and they got along together a whole year, breeding as was natural, and yet she showed no signs of pregnancy. Both her and her mate knew they were expecting and it was a shame when he was taken back to his home, though who knows if he were brought here too. Anyway, the humans thought her suspect pregnancy had lasted too long and sent her to Tempolar. She should not have travelled pregnant, but she did, and on arrival and after a day she gave birth. Her baby was weak, and the keepers that had seen white rhinos reject weak babies so violently feared the worst. They tried to take her baby, but she repelled them and helped her little babe up. Now she’s happy and at three months her baby and her were released.
Mate: She’s had tonnes, one she really adored but never saw again, and currently none because of her baby
Offspring: She’s had one before that died, but she has her current little mischief
Companions: Her baby
Personality: She’s a tough old girl with a good history of beating up lions and anything that bothers her. She’s good around other rhinos and indeed she appreciates the appearance of other grazers to help keep an eye on her baby. She’s a gentle mother and kind to all baby animals, even and enemies’ babe would be safe with her. She likes the elder males or the recent leavers but she does not like the middle ones, if only because they have no respect and bully youngsters so that they can take her attention.
Interesting/ Extra Details: She already really loves her bouncing baby

Posting Example: A post from Twilight Road where I played a Unicorn X Nightmare
The black king of the evils moved cautiously yet purposefully around the territory with an air of irritation and hatred. He peered at the huge mountains and snorted a soft but irritated snort. He stood with one hoof on the edge of a snowy cliff and looked down the drop with an amused nicker. It echoed back and he gave a malevolent grin. Then Melkor trotted on with his company following very cautiously. The black king then spotted a swift gash that sloped down one side of the cliffs and into a rather moderately sized valley. He begins to scale down the cliff with little need for effort. He knew his brothers were probably wishing he would slip and fall right now, but he didn't. Melkor landed on a small bed of rocks and snow at the edge of a mountain spring and a stream that fed a river further down. He snorted in interested then mused at the great size of the valley, it was definitely big enough to support them for a while. He called up to his herd and then began trotted around proudly and seeking out a reasonable platform. The first of his young mares to scale down was Leckni, followed by Mirage and the little filly foal called Revive. Then the young daughter of Nessa, Famine scaled down eagerly almost knocking the other two down with her. But she landed neatly and immediately rolled and hurried to a secluded spot. Melkor snorted in annoyance but noticed that Famine was finally foaling. He sighed then nickered to his beloved ladies and his siblings to join him.
