I have six for the owner, just so there's a little bit of activity around here! ;D But I'll do them one at a time.
Name: Adofo
Meaning of Name: Courageous Warrior in Akan (A language from Ghana)
Age: 3
Gender: Male
Species: Cape Grysbok
Colour & Description: He has a russet-brown coat with white under-area and neck. He has short little and thin black horns on his forehead, and he is quite a small animal. He’s got a very rounded back-end and he has very big eyes and ears. He also has the general white ring around his eye of most Grysbok.
Come From: An Orphanage in Africa
Health Problems: He’s quite healthy just a little unsettled
History: He was born in the wilds of Africa, but his family were driven out of their territory because his father had lost a fight to another pair. So they were scuttling away and across a road when a warden’s car hit his mother. She was killed instantly from a headlong collision and his father ran away without a word. He simply crouched on the ground as he’d been taught and expected either his mother to stand and see to him, or the worst. At first he assumed the worst would come when the humans stooped over his mother, and so he gave a bleat in worry. The humans spotted him, moved over to his side, and took him away. Some volunteers raised him at an orphanage and then he was given to Tempolar when he was just old enough and trained enough for the wild life.
Personality: He’s quite accepting but very clingy, he needs some company but it’s unlikely he might get it. He seems a little daft or skittish sometimes so probably might not attract a very bright female. But that doesn’t matter to him; he’ll make friends with the first thing he sees, no matter what it is!
Interesting/ Extra Details: He’s not stupid so he knows what it is expected of him
The box was tipped almost unceremoniously from the truck and Adofo gave a bleat of terror from within his box. He had been quite surprised by that sudden jolt, but the humans were speaking in excited tones, and generally he’d learnt that it meant good things. Unlike some of the animals of Tempolar, he had been in a good experience with man, a truck had hit his mother, and he’d been taken to an orphanage, named and raised, that was his story. In his thoughts, he owed the humans a lot, but then they did not seem to want to tell him what they wanted, but rather they would take him somewhere. With a snort Adofo settled down within his box and prepared for this new journey as they led him toward some rocks. The humans knew that he grew very fond of his neighbours quickly and liked company, so they were leaving him somewhere close to other animals, hopefully it would result in him breeding. But it was just a hope. When the new world was opened up for him, Adofo gave a squeak of surprise as he was pushed onto the ground and the humans ran for it. For a while, he stood there thinking in shock, the humans left without a word, so he was stuck here!
